Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. The order processing time is separate from the shipping time you see during checkout.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, and potential postal service delays that are outside of our control, your shipment may be delayed. If you have concerns about our shipping policy, please email us at serena@duckduckbooks.com.

 

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

We offer $4.99 standard flat rate shipping (2-12 business days) on all orders within the continental United States. Orders are shipped from Seattle, WA.

For expedited shipping options: shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Expedited shipping can be costly.

 

International Shipping Rates and Estimates

International shipping can be costly. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We do not offer expedited international shipping at this time.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Fees are determined by the customs agency, so please do your research before you purchase. The assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order. Duck Duck Books is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 12 business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, or if you suspect your order is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, please contact us at serena@duckduckbooks.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

 

Shipping to the wrong address

We understand that mistakes happen. If you had a typo in your address, please reach out to us immediately, or within 24 hours of when the order is placed, and we will do our best to update the address for you. We are unable to edit, cancel, refund, or reship any orders once they are processed and have been shipped to an incorrect address. We recommend reaching out to your local post office to forward the shipment to your correct address.

We reserve the right to investigate all missing or lost packages, and receive the results of the investigation before proceeding with a resolution. Repeated claims of non-receipt and returns can lead to the cancellation of your order.
